Tabi No Omosa
is a 1972 Japanese film directed by Kōichi Saitō. Also known as a Journey Into Solitude in English. The story is about a 16-year-old girl who is unsatisfied with her life and leaves her home in search of something else. Kōichi Saitō (film Director)
was a Japanese film director and photographer. Career Born in Tokyo, Saitō started studying at Rikkyo University but ended up graduating from the Tokyo College of Photography (currently Tokyo Polytechnic University). He was initially a movie stills photographer at Nikkatsu before launching his own production company, Saito Productions, and directing his first film, ''Sasayaki no Jō'', "a low-budget, independent film with a visual flair that earned comparisons with Claude Lelouch and with Richard Lester’s Beatles films, including '' A Hard Day’s Night''". Some of his first films were youth movies featuring Group Sounds music. He came to prominence in the early 1970s with a series of movies about young people escaping to or searching for their identity in the countryside. Etsushi Takahashi
was a Japanese actor from Kishiwada, Osaka Prefecture. Takahashi often worked with Kihachi Okamoto and Satsuo Yamamoto. After graduating Rikkyo University, Takahashi joined NHK acting school. In 1964, he joined Bungakuza Theatre Company's acting school and became an official member in 1967. In the same year, he gave his film debut with ''Watashi Machigatterukashira?''. He received the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year in 1968. He appeared in '' Onihei's Detective Records'' although he was fighting against cancer and the film became his final film appearance.
