''TV Mayhem'' was a short-lived British children's Saturday morning television series that was originally a replacement for ''Hey Hey It's Saturday'' after it was cancelled and aired from September 1991 for just six weeks on the breakfast television channel TV-am. The show was presented by Chris Evans, who later went on to co-host ''The Big Breakfast'' in 1992 on Channel 4. Cartoons that were aired included all the animated segments from ''Wake, Rattle and Roll'' (which were '' Fender Bender 500'' and '' Monster Tails'') and '' Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures''. It was due to last 40 weeks but was cancelled after TV-am lost its licence to GMTV, then known as Sunrise Television, on 16 October. Chris Evans (presenter)
Christopher James Evans (born 1 April 1966) is an English television presenter, radio DJ and producer for radio and television. He started his broadcasting career working for Piccadilly Radio, Manchester, as a teenager, before moving to London as a presenter for the BBC's BBC Radio London and then Channel 4 television, where ''The Big Breakfast'' made him a star. Soon he was able to dictate highly favourable terms, allowing him to broadcast on competing radio and TV stations. Slots like ''Radio 1 Breakfast'' and ''TFI Friday'' provided a mix of celebrity interviews, music and comic games, delivered in an irreverent style that attracted high ratings, though often also generated significant numbers of complaints. By 2000 he was the UK's highest paid entertainer, according to the ''Sunday Times'' Rich List. In the tax year to April 2017, he was the BBC's highest-paid presenter, earning between £2.2m and £2.25m annually. In 2005, he started a new career on BBC Radio 2, hosting ...

TV-am
TV-am was a TV company that broadcast the ITV franchise for breakfast television in the United Kingdom from 1 February 1983 until 31 December 1992. The station was the UK's first national operator of a commercial breakfast television franchise. Its daily broadcasts were between 6 am and 9:25 am. Throughout its nine years and 10 months of broadcast, the station regularly had problems, resulting in numerous management changes, especially in its early years. It also suffered from major financial cutbacks hampering its operations. Though on a stable footing by 1986 and winning its ratings battle with BBC '' Breakfast Time'', within a year further, turmoil had ensued when industrial action hit the company. Despite these setbacks, by the 1990s, TV-am's flagship programme '' Good Morning Britain'' had become the most popular breakfast show on UK television. However, following a change in the law regarding TV franchising, the company lost its licence. It was replaced by GMTV in 1993. ...

As the show's title suggests, Hanna-Barbera intended the show to air on its affiliated stations in a morning timeslot before school. The show's title was inspired by the song "Shake, Rattle and Roll". After its single season on the air in syndication, ''Wake, Rattle, and Roll'' moved exclusively to The Disney Channel under the title ''Jump, Rattle, and Roll'', with the title adjustment due to its repeats not being confined to mornings. ''Jump, Rattle, and Roll'' ran on The Disney Channel from October 7, 1991 to 1994, becoming the only Hanna-Barbera animated series ever to air on that network.''The Disney Channel M ...
