TV 2 Zulu
TV 2 Zulu is a Danish television station and a sister channel to TV 2 Denmark. It is primarily aimed at viewers between 15 and 30 years of age. TV2 Zulu has been noted for Danish comedy shows and programmes such as '' Langt fra Las Vegas'', ''Gustne Gensyn'', '' P.I.S.'', ''Klovn'' and ''FC Zulu'', the latter of which was nominated for an International Emmy in 2005 for best Non-scripted Entertainment. From 2000 to 2007, TV2 Zulu broadcast live NFL games. TV2 Zulu is also known for its award shows such as Zulu Awards and Zulu Comedy Galla. Zulu Comedy Galla is a part of Zulu Comedy Festival, where comedians, both Danish and foreign, are performing in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. In 2011 it was introduced that comedians would also be performing in Aarhus. During the festival, the TV channel also broadcasts much comedy. TV 2 (Denmark)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television. Upon its establishment, it had first begun its experimental test transmissions, and then, two years later, it had therefore commenced its official broadcast on 1 October 1988, with its first program being ''Danish Symphony'' which is broadcast at 17:00, followed by the news at 19:30. Viasat (Nordic Television Service)
Viasat was a satellite and pay television brand, co-owned by the Swedish media group Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) in the Nordic countries, Antenna Group in Hungary, and by Viasat World internationally. Founded in Sweden in 1991, Viasat has previously been owned by Modern Times Group. The channels of both companies were broadcast from London. Canal Digital
Canal Digital was a Nordic pay TV and internet service provider in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland that was founded in March 1997 as a joint venture between the French pay TV company Canal+ and the Norwegian telecommunications operator Telenor. The number of customers in 2017 was 838,000. From 2003 to 2020, Canal Digital was fully owned by Telenor.
