TV 2 Nyheter
TV 2 Nyheter (''TV 2 News'') is a 24-hour Norwegian language television news channel which started broadcasting on 15 January 2007. It is Norway's first national news network in Norwegian, although Nyhetskanalen did exist from 1997 to 1998. The channel's main newsroom is located in Bergen. Programming Weekdays The channel has broadcasts with presenters in the studio from 06:00 to 22:30. However the newsroom is manned the whole day and thus, the channel can quickly go on air at the last minute in case news breaks during the night. Through the night, the day's news items are non-stop in Nyhetshjulet. At the same time, a news ticker rolls across the bottom of the screen all day with updates from NTB, TV 2 Nyhetene, TV 2 Sporten, and NA24.no. The broadcasts originate from TV 2's Oslo Bureau along Karl Johans gate from 06:30 to 10:30. The news team at TV 2's headquarters in Bergen takes over from 10:30 (Økonominyhetene) until 15:00. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. Terje Svabø
Terje Svabø (born 4 October 1952) is a Norwegian journalist. Svabø has worked at ''Aftenposten'', '' VG'' and NRK evening news, where he hosted the debate programs ''Debatt 21'' (Debate 21) and ''Til debatt'' ( en, To Debate). In 2000 he left NRK and joined the public relations agency Dinamo. He has also been general manager of the think tank Civita. Until 2009, he worked as a news anchor at TV 2 Nyhetskanalen. Television in Norway was introduced in 1954, but the first television program was only shown in 1958, and regular broadcasts did not start until 1960. Like Denmark, Norway had only one television channel until the 1980s. Some 40% of the population have cable TV, and 30% have satellite TV. Another 30% have terrestrial television only. In Norway, all advertising containing political messages and advertising aimed at children are prohibited. A fin is a thin component or appendage attached to a larger body or structure. Sturla (Stûrlâ in Ligurian) is a quartiere of Genoa. It began life as an ancient fishing village which developed around a number of small coves – Sturla a Mare, at the mouth of the Sturla river, Vernazzola and Boccadasse (Boccadasse is now included in the neighbouring quartiere of Albaro).
