TVS Television (russian: Телекомпания ТВС) was a private Russian television network which was shut down by the Press Ministry of Russia on June 22, 2003. Translation of Where The End Began For TVS. Media-Sotsium was a nonprofit partnership, founded by Arkady Volsky, president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Yevgeny Primakov, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Creation On January 11, 2002, a separate Russian television channel, TV-6 lost a court battle over bankruptcy and was placed into liquidation by a unanimous decision of thirteen judges of the Russian Supreme Arbitration Court. SECAM
SECAM, also written SÉCAM (, ''Séquentiel de couleur à mémoire'', French for ''color sequential with memory''), is an analog color television system that was used in France, some parts of Europe and Africa, and Russia. It was one of three major analog color television standards, the others being PAL and NTSC. This page primarily discusses the SECAM colour encoding system. SECAM video is composite video because the luminance (luma, monochrome image) and chrominance (chroma, color applied to the monochrome image) are transmitted together as one signal.
