TVN Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly known as TVN Grupa Discovery) is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery that operates television channels and services in Poland. It operates the TVN Group, a media company acquired by Scripps Networks Interactive, which later got bought by Discovery, Inc. With the merger of WarnerMedia with Discovery, Inc., and the restructuration of its international business, the company's Polish assets, instead of being under Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA control, were left under its own subsidiary under control of Kasia Kieli, which is also president of TVN Group. Groupe Canal+ is a French mass media company. It is owned and controlled by Vivendi and has a film library in excess of 5,000 films. Vivendi has sold some parts of Canal+ to private investors which are still using the name of Canal+. It is headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, in the suburbs of Paris. The ''Wall Street Journal'' described Canal+ as "the French film industry's biggest financial backer, beloved by French cineastes". TTV (Twoja Telewizja TV; '' en, Your Television TV'') is the first Polish, social-intervention television channel. It was launched on January 2, 2012. TTV broadcasts of a news and entertainment programs. The channel cooperates with TVN 24. History In September 2011, Stavka and the TVN Group concluded an agreement on a close cooperation in the field of technology, advertising and programming. Originally, the channel was supposed to broadcast under the name ''U-TV'', but the broadcaster requested before the launch to change the record in the concession received. TVN International Extra ''(iTVN Extra)'' is a Polish television channel belonging to the TVN Group. It is the second TV channel of TVN International addressed to Poles living abroad. It is targeted at the Polish community living in the United States, Germany, Great Britain and France. The channel is not available in Poland.
