TVN Group (''TVN S.A.'') is a Polish media and entertainment group established in 1995 as ''TVN Sp. z o.o''. The CEO of TVN Group is Katarzyna "Kasia" Kieli, president and managing director of TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. Its TV channel, TVN, is their flagship. In 2004, with its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the company became a public limited company. In March 2015, U.S. broadcaster Scripps Networks Interactive bought a 52.7% majority stake in TVN for €584 million. In July 2015, SNI bought out TVN's remaining owners, ITI Group and Canal+ Group, for €584 million, giving it full ownership. On March 6, 2018, SNI was, in turn, acquired by Discovery, Inc. for US$14.6 billion. Liberty Global, which operated pay television provider UPC Polska, is a major shareholder in Discovery. Media Business Centre (MBC) is a building located at ''166 Wiertnicza Street'' in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the part of Warsaw commonly known as Sadyba, on the administrative border of the Mokotów and Wilanów districts). It is the headquarters of the TVN Group and a large part of its companies. It was built in 2002. There are two newsrooms in the building. The upper one (on the scale of the whole building located on the first floor, also equipped with mezzanines) is the location of production and broadcasting of TVN (Poland), TVN's news program Fakty TVN, Fakty and most of TVN24's programmes. The lower one (on the ground floor) serves as editorial office of TVN24 Biznes i Świat, sometimes it also serves as a reserve or weekend studio of TVN24. TVN International Extra ''(iTVN Extra)'' is a Polish television channel belonging to the TVN Group. It is the second TV channel of TVN International addressed to Poles living abroad. It is targeted at the Polish community living in the United States, Germany, Great Britain and France. The channel is not available in Poland. Programming The programme offer in the weekly broadcasting time between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. includes five types of programmes: news programmes (6%), journalistic programmes (19%), documentaries (11%), entertainment programmes (5%) and other programmes (18%). Cartoon Network is a Polish pay television channel aimed at children, which launched in 1998 as a localised feed of the U.S. television network of the same name.
