Crime (formerly FOX Crime) is an Australian subscription television channel primarily screening crime drama television series. The channel launched on 7 November 2019, replacing TVHits. History TVHits (2014–2019) In August 2013 it was announced Foxtel had failed to complete negotiations with the TV1 General Entertainment Partnership for a new carriage deal for their channel TV1, an Australian general entertainment channel dedicated to hit television series. As a result, Foxtel planned to replace it with another general entertainment channel once TV1's carriage deal had expired. In October 2013 it was announced TVHits, a channel owned and operated by Foxtel Networks, would replace TV1 on 1 January 2014. The branding logo used an exclamation point in place of the "I" character. TV1 (Australian TV Channel)
TV1 was an Australian subscription channel. The station closed on 31 December 2013, along with its sister channel SF (Australia), SF. It was replaced on 1 January 2014 by TV Hits (Australian TV channel), TVH!ts. History TV1 launched as part of the original Galaxy (Australian television), Galaxy line-up. The channel was jointly owned by Sony Pictures Television and CBS Studios International (CBS Corporation), and NBCUniversal (Comcast). The channel broadcast numerous sitcoms, dramas, Pre-2006 movies and other programming. It referred to itself as 'Always Great'. Fetch TV
Fetch TV is an Australian IPTV provider that delivers a subscription television service over a user's regular internet service. Fetch TV launched in 2010 backed by its Malaysian parent Astro Malaysia Holdings. On 2 August 2022, Telstra acquired a 51% stake in the company. Fetch TV provides a set top box with a digital TV tuner, personal video recorder and up to 45 subscription channels, video on demand, pay per view movies, web applications, and a mobile app. The service is delivered by HLS adaptive bitrate streaming. Fox Funny (formerly 111 funny, pronounced as "triple one") is an Australian pay television channel focused on airing popular American sitcoms from the mid-2000s to present, complementing the 1980s–2005 schedule of sister network Fox Comedy. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed.
