TVCatchup
TVCatchup was an Internet television service for viewing free-to-air UK channels. It operated as a cable service and retransmitted BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, and ITV, amongst others, only in the UK. Users were able to access the service via desktop browsers as well as smartphone and tablet apps. The service was funded by advertising, with advertisements preceding the live channel stream. The service was originally launched in 2007 as a personal video recorder in the cloud, before being redesigned as a live-streaming service. , it had nearly 10 million active users, according to the company, with 2 million viewers tuning in to the service to watch the England versus Poland FIFA World Cup qualifier on 15 October 2013. Viva (stylised as VIVA) was a British free-to-air music television channel owned by Viacom International Media Networks Europe. The channel launched on 26 October 2009, replacing TMF, and ceased broadcasting on 31 January 2018. TV Warehouse is an infomercial-based shopping channel brand based in the UK. The channel is owned and was originally launched by Canis Media. History TV Warehouse first launched in November 2001 by Canis Media. A sister channel TV Warehouse Select was launched in May 2002. In May 2005, both TV Warehouse channels were sold to TV Network. In 2008, TV Network went into liquidation. JML purchased both channels and TV Warehouse Select was rebranded TV Warehouse 2. On 2 February 2009, both channels were rebranded and were replaced by JML Home & DIY and Shop Now TV. On 11 September 2013, Canis Media relaunched TV Warehouse on Sky channel 657 and Freesat channel 804. It was moved to Sky channel 667 on 19 August 2014 and removed from Freesat later the same month. Ideal World is a British TV shopping channel, broadcasting on Freeview, Satellite, Cable and online, with transactional websites, broadcast from studios in Peterborough. History Ideal World has its origins in the 1980s as a mail order company selling products via national press adverts and consumer exhibitions. The company was then called Wrightway Marketing and was run by Paul Wright and his business partner Val Kaye. Ideal World launched on 17 April 2000 on digital satellite from studios in Peterborough. Ideal World originally had Steve Whatley, Paul Lavers and Debbie Flint as the three main faces of the channel. Subtv is a linear interactive music TV channel available to watch online, on mobile devices, as well as on plasma screens in students' unions and universities within the United Kingdom. Gala TV was a Bingo (United Kingdom), bingo channel in the United Kingdom, launched in 2006 by Gala Bingo. The channel was removed from the satellite lineup in 2011. It continued as an online television channel, and in 2012 was renamed as Gala Live. Gala TV broadcast 24 hours a day. AutoBingo ran throughout the day. Then live bingo ran from 5 pm to 1 am.
