TV5 (''TV Five'') is a Finnish television channel owned and operated by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. The channel launched in March 2004 but it was replaced by The Voice TV Finland in November 2004. It started operating again in September 2008 on the same channel as The Voice. It transmitted every day from 6pm to 1am. In the fall of 2010, TV5 started using the same logo, identity, graphics, and branding as Kanal 5, a channel in Sweden also owned by SBS Discovery. TV5 and The Voice became separate channels on April 1, 2011. After that TV5 became the fastest growing channel, by viewers, in Finland in 2011. TV5 is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel. It is launched on 2 October 2007 by Shreya Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. It is founded by B. R. Naidu (Bollineni Rajagopal Naidu) of Chittoor. He is also the owner of hair product company, Nuzen Hair oil. Naidu is the chairman, and Bollineni Ravindranath is the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of the channel. TV5 was a Latvian television channel, created in June 1996. All programs were broadcast in Russian. The channel showed Russian serials, movies and hockey nightly news broadcast out of Arēna Rīga. Until October 2001 the name was ''TV Riga''. TV5 was owned by Modern Times Group. Financial reasons forced TV5 to cease broadcast in March 2016. History In June 1996, ''TV Riga'' started broadcasting. This channel broadcast took place in the Riga Radio and TV Tower. The broadcasting radius was 70 kilometers around Riga.
