TRC Turf Ground
TRC Turf Ground is an association football stadium located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Owned by Jammu & Kashmir Football Association, It is currently the home ground of Real Kashmir and most JKFA Professional League teams. History The stadium was made at the cost of 4.5 crore (45 million) rupees and unveiled in September 2014 by then Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. In 2017, the government and sports minister Imran Raza Ansari approved high mast flood lighting system to allow night matches. The first tournament was organised in 2015 namely Football Fanatics Knockout Tournament by Fanatics Group in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Football Association Tenants Since 2015, the ground is being used in the I-League 2nd Division as the home ground for Lonestar Kashmir FC, and I-League for Real Kashmir FC. Srinagar (English: , ) is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Popular sports in Jammu and Kashmir include cricket, football and winter sports along with sports like golf, water sports, Ice stock sport and adventure sports. The National Winter Games have been held in Gulmarg in 1996, 2004 and 2009. The first Khelo India Winter Games were held in February and March 2020 in Leh and Gulmarg. Jammu and Kashmir won the most gold medals (26 gold, 29 silver, 21 bronze) while the Indian Army team came second with 8 gold medals. Real Kashmir FC is an Indian professional football club based in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Club competes in both the I-League, and J&K Premier Football League. I-League
The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007. I-League 2, previously known as I-League 2nd Division and officially known as or Hero I-League 2 (for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp), is an Indian men's professional football league. It is the 3rd tier of Indian football, behind Indian Super League and I-League. It operates as a system of promotion with I-League (final qualifying phase of state leagues teams). In 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic in India, the league format was changed into I-League Qualifiers. To avoid confusion with I-League being the second tier, the league was renamed to I-League 2 by AIFF in 2022. Imran Raza Ansari
Imran Reza Ansari (born 7 March 1972) is a Kashmiri politician and a well known Shia cleric succeeding his father Iftikhar Hussain Ansari after later's death. He belongs to the influential Ansari family. He won elections from the Pattan constituency and was nominated as Minister of Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports. Imran is the grandson of marhoom Molvi Jawad Ansari and also the nephew of Abid Hussain Ansari.
