TPT (software)
TPT (time partition testing) is a systematic test methodology for the automated software test and verification of embedded control systems, cyber-physical systems, and dataflow programs. TPT is specialised on testing and validation of embedded systems whose inputs and outputs can be represented as signals and is a dedicated method for testing continuous behaviour of systems. Most control systems belong to this system class. The outstanding characteristic of control systems is the fact that they interact closely interlinked with a real world environment. Controllers need to observe their environment and react correspondingly to its behaviour. The system works in an interactional cycle with its environment and is subject to temporal constraints. Testing these systems is to stimulate and to check the timing behaviour. Traditional functional testing methods use scripts – TPT uses model-based testing. TPT combines a systematic and graphic modelling technique for test cases with ...

Transaction Privilege Tax
Transaction privilege tax (TPT) refers to a gross receipts tax levied by the state of Arizona on certain persons for the privilege of conducting business in the state. TPT differs from the "true" sales tax imposed by many other U.S. states as it is imposed upon the seller or lessor rather than the purchaser or lessee. The seller/lessor may pass the burden of the tax on to the purchaser/lessee, but the seller or lessor is the party that remains ultimately liable to Arizona for the tax. TPT is imposed under 16 separate business classifications: amusement, commercial lease, job printing, membership camping, mining, owner builder sales, personal property rental, pipeline, prime contracting, private car line, publication, restaurant, retail, telecommunications, transient lodging, transporting, and utilities. (Effective November 1, 2006, the Arizona State Legislature repealed the membership camping classification statute, reducing the total number of tax classifications from 17 to 1 ...

Tramway De Pithiviers à Toury
The Tramway de Pithiviers à Toury (, TPT) was a gauge railway in the Loiret department of France. It was built to carry sugar beet and was long. History Pithiviers and Toury are apart, and sugar beet is a major agricultural product in the area. The Chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans passed through Toury. In 1892, the Decauville, Société Decauville took a 15-year concession to build and operate a light railway linking Pithiviers and the surrounding villages to Toury. There were sugar refineries at Pithiviers and Toury, and the line connected these. The route of the railway generally followed local roads. The line opened on 25 July 1892. The failure of the Société Decauville in 1898 meant that the operation of the TPT was taken over by the department on 1 January 1899 and later by the ''Ponts et Chaussees'' on 29 March 1901. Traffic grew steadily until the Second World War. A railcar was introduced in 1922, and another followed in 1926, followed by two more acquired se ...

Iron Guard
The Iron Guard () was a Romanian militant revolutionary nationalism, revolutionary Clerical fascism, religious fascist Political movement, movement and political party founded in 1927 by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu as the Legion of the Archangel Michael () or the Legionary Movement (). It was strongly Criticism of democracy, anti-democratic, Anti-communism, anti-communist, and Antisemitism, anti-semitic. It differed from other European far-right movements of the period due to its spiritual basis, as the Iron Guard was deeply imbued with Romanian Orthodox Church, Romanian Orthodox Christian mysticism. In March 1930, Codreanu formed the Iron Guard as a paramilitary branch of the Legion, which in 1935 changed its official name to the "Totul pentru Țară" party—literally, "Everything for the Country". Two-part Tariff
A two-part tariff (TPT) is a form of price discrimination wherein the price of a product or service is composed of two parts – a lump-sum fee as well as a per-unit charge. In general, such a pricing technique only occurs in partially or fully monopolistic markets. It is designed to enable the firm to capture more consumer surplus than it otherwise would in a non-discriminating pricing environment. Two-part tariffs may also exist in competitive markets when consumers are uncertain about their ultimate demand. Health club consumers, for example, may be uncertain about their level of future commitment to an exercise regimen. Two-part tariffs are easy to implement when connection or entrance fees (first part) can be charged along with a price per unit consumed (second part). Depending on the homogeneity of demand, the lump-sum fee charged varies, but the rational firm will set the per unit charge above or equal to the marginal cost of production, and below or equal to the ...

The Passion Translation
The Passion Translation (TPT) is a book in modern English, and is alternatively described as a translation or an interpretive paraphrase of parts of the Bible—as of early 2025, the New Testament, the Psalms, and an increasing number of further books from the Hebrew Bible. Per his description in interview, TPT's author, Brian Simmons experienced a vision, and thereafter pursued a goal is "to bring God's eternal truth into a highly readable heart-level expression that causes truth and love to jump out of the text and lodge inside our hearts." The current publisher's information states Brian Simmons as translator, but the absence of a disclosed committee for the translation (as is most common for Bible translations) has been noted, and various scholars have described the work as a solo, interpretive, and additive (rather than a true translation) effort. The work has received endorsements from some Christian leaders in the United States, and has also been subject to intensive scru ...

TransPennine Trains
TransPennine Trains Limited, trading as TransPennine Express (TPE), is a British train operating company that has operated passenger services in the TransPennine Express franchise area since May 2023. It runs regional and inter-city rail services between the major cities and towns of Northern England and Scotland. The company, which is owned by DfT Operator, the government's operator of last resort, was established following poor performance by the previous commercially owned operator, also called TransPennine Express. It has carried over the rolling stock, passenger services, and branding. History During the early 2020s, the incumbent operator of the TransPennine Express franchise, FirstGroup's TransPennine Express, suffered severe disruption of its services, which was largely attributable to events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022–2023 United Kingdom railway strikes. On 11 May 2023, following numerous cancellations and service disruptions, the Department for Trans ...

Trans Pennine Trail
The Trans Pennine Trail is a long-distance path running from coast to coast across Northern England on a mixture of surfaced paths, with some short on-road sections, and with gentle gradients (it runs largely along disused railway lines and canal towpaths). It forms part of European walking route E8 and is part of the National Cycle Network as Route 62 (referencing the M62 motorway which also crosses the Pennines). Most of the surfaces and gradients make it a relatively easy trail, suitable for cyclists, pushchairs and wheelchair users. The section between Stockport and Barnsley is hilly, especially near Woodhead, and not all sections or barriers are accessible for users of wheelchairs or non-standard cycles. Some parts are also open to horse riding. The trail is administered from a central office in Barnsley, which is responsible for promotion and allocation of funding. However, the 27 local authorities whose areas the trail runs through are responsible for management of ...
