TNA Sacrifice (2012)
The 2012 Sacrifice was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on May 13, 2012 at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the eighth under the Sacrifice chronology and fifth event in the 2012 TNA PPV schedule. In the main event, Bobby Roode defeated Rob Van Dam in a Ladder match to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Other matches that preceded the final bout were Kurt Angle defeating A.J Styles, Austin Aries defeating Bully Ray, and Crimson defeating Eric Young, all in a singles match. Also, Devon defeated Robbie E and Robbie T to retain his TNA Television Championship, Gail Kim defeated Brooke Tessmacher to retain her TNA Women's Knockout Championship, and Christopher Daniels and Kazarian defeated Samoa Joe and Magnus to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Robert Terry (born 30 April 1980) is a Welsh Bodybuilding, bodybuilder and a former Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is known for his work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring names Rob Terry, Robbie T and The Freak. Ladder Match
A ladder match is a type of match in professional wrestling, most commonly one in which an item (usually a title belt) is hung above the ring, and the winner is the contestant who climbs a ladder and retrieves the item. The ladder itself becomes a key feature of the match, as wrestlers will use the ladder as a weapon to strike the opponent(s), as a launching pad for acrobatic attacks, and frequently these matches include impressive falls from the top of the ladder. There have been a few matches in which the hung item must be used in a special manner in order to win the match, such as striking the opponent with the item (see Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Scott Hall taser match, where one must strike the opponent with the taser, regardless of who retrieved the taser first). Christopher Daniel Covell (born March 24, 1970), better known by the ring name Christopher Daniels, is an American retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler.
