TASIS England
TASIS England, formally known as TASIS The American School in England, is an American international boarding and day school in England. Founded in 1976, it is the second oldest of the TASIS Schools, a Swiss group of American international boarding schools. Located in Thorpe, Runnymede, in the County of Surrey, the school enrolls approximately 650 pupils from around the world. History TASIS stands for The American School in Switzerland. Thorpe, Surrey
Thorpe is a village in Surrey, England, between Egham, Virginia Water and Chertsey. It is centred WSW of Charing Cross and its land adjoins the circle of the M25, near the M3 — its ward covers . Its traditional area with natural boundaries covers one square mile less. Thorpe has been a manor since at least 1066 and has had a Christian place of worship since at least the 7th century. It has never had a civil parish nor major industry and relies for much of its amenities on its two main adjoining towns. The River Bourne or Chertsey Bourne flows through its far south. ACS Egham
ACS International Schools is a group of four independent schools catering for local and international families - three in England and one in Qatar. Francesca McKnight Donatella Romana Gregorini di Savignano di Romagna (born August7, 1968), known professionally as Francesca Gregorini, is an Italian-American screenwriter and film director. Early life Born in Rome, Gregorini is the daughter of former "Bond girl" Barbara Bach and businessman Augusto Gregorini Savignano di Romagna from Savignano sul Rubicone. Madeleine Altmann is a contemporary video artist. She was born in Brazil and lives in the United States. Overview Altmann has been active in visual arts for most of her life.
