T6 (Istanbul Tram)
The T6 (Sirkeci - Kazlıçeşme) or Sirkeci - Kazlıçeşme Rail Line ( tr, Sirkeci - Kazlıçeşme Raylı Sistemi) is a tram line, rail line or light rail line that will operate as a shuttle between the Sirkeci Terminal and Kazlıçeşme Station. The T6 line will use 8km of track previously used by the Istanbul Sirkeci-Pythio Railway and Istanbul suburban in August 12, 2013 as part of construction of the Marmaray. It will run on refurbished tracks through Sirkeci and Kazlıçeşme. It is expected to start service in the first quarter of 2023. Rail System
Rail transport (also known as train transport) is a means of transport that transfers passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are incorporated in tracks. Yedikule (Istanbul Tram)
Yedikule (''Seven Towers'') is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Fatih, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 15,789 (2022). It is named after the seven-towered Yedikule Fortress, which surrounds the neighborhood. Urbanized in the 16th century, the neighborhood became a hub for industrial and agricultural activities. Yedikule has a local football team that played in the TFF Second League for a season. Marmaray passes through the neighbourhood, however Yedikule railway station is closed and the trains do not serve the neighbourhood. Yenikapı Transfer Center
Yenikapı Transfer Center ( tr, Yenikapı Aktarma Merkezi), referred to as Yenikapı, is an underground transportation complex in Istanbul. It is located in south-central Fatih in the neighborhood of Yenikapı, hence the name of the hub. The complex is right next to the, indefinitely closed, Yenikapı railway station and a short walk away from the Yenikapı Ferry Terminal and İDO ferry service. Yenikapı complex links two stations of Istanbul Metro to a railway station of the Turkish State Railways on the trans-Bosphorus Marmaray tunnel. Kumkapı (Istanbul Tram)
Kumkapı (meaning "sand gate" in Turkish) is a quarter in Fatih district of Istanbul. It is located along the northern shore of Marmara Sea. Up to recent times, Kumkapı is the center of the Armenian community of the city, boasting a school and several churches.
