T. And T.
''T. and T.'' is a television series, in production from 1987 to 1990. It premiered in first-run syndication in January 1988, moving to new episodes on the Family Channel in 1990. It is a starring vehicle for Mr. T, after the cancellation of ''The A-Team'' in 1987. It was co-produced by Canadian animation firm Nelvana (in one of its few live-action productions), alongside Hal Roach Studios and successor Qintex Entertainment. The theme song was performed by Merry Clayton. Plot The opening voice-over has the premise. The regular cast includes Mr. T, Alex Amini as Amanda "Amy" Taler, Kristina Nicoll as Terri Taler (who replaced her sister as Turner's new partner in 1990), and David Nerman as Danforth "Dick" Decker, the owner of the gym where T.S. boxes and, eventually, set his own headquarters. Patrick Loubert
Patrick Loubert (born 1947 in Toronto, Ontario) is one of the founders of the Canadian animation studio, Nelvana Limited, along with Clive A. Smith and Michael Hirsh. He has produced, and executive-produced, much of the company's most memorable fare. At the beginning of his career, Loubert published '' The Great Canadian Comic Books'', a 1971 book focusing on the early days of local comic lore, with partner Hirsh. With Don Haig, he scripted and directed '' 125 Rooms of Comfort'', another live-action project, in 1974. Merry Clayton
Merry Clayton (born December 25, 1948) is an American soul and gospel singer. She provided a number of backing vocal tracks for major performing artists in the 1960s, most notably in her duet with Mick Jagger on the Rolling Stones song "Gimme Shelter". Clayton is prominently featured in '' 20 Feet from Stardom'', the Oscar-winning documentary about background singers and their contributions to the music industry. Donald Everett "Don" Shebib (born 27 January 1938) is a Canadian film director. Shebib is a central figure in the development of English Canadian cinema who made several short documentaries for the National Film Board of Canada and CBC Television in the 1960s before turning to feature films, beginning with the influential ''Goin' Down the Road'' (1970) and what many call his masterpiece, '' Between Friends'' (1973). Mark Holmes (born July 26, 1960) is a British-Canadian musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Canadian rock band Platinum Blonde (band), Platinum Blonde. He also co-founded the Mod Club Theatre, an entertainment venue in Toronto that operated from 2002 to 2020. Early life Mark Holmes emigrated from Mansfield, England to Canada in 1977. As a youth he had hopes of becoming a professional soccer player. Once in Toronto, he attended commercial art college, Apprenticeship, apprenticed in hairdressing and played in bands on the side.
