T. Schreiber Studio
The T. Schreiber Studio is an acting studio located in New York City at 151 West 26th Street. History Established in 1969 by Terry Schreiber, the studio was originally run out of a loft on the Upper East Side, holding classes for just a handful of students. In 1970, the studio got a big boost when its production of ''The Trip Back Down'' received favorable reviews, including a rave from then noted New York Times drama critic, Walter Kerr. On January 25, 1999, the T. Schreiber Studio was recognized by the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York for "Its dedication to making it possible for New Yorkers to enjoy some of the most talented actors, directors and playwrights. Terry Schreiber (born March 7, 1937) is an American theater director, acting teacher, and founder of the T. Schreiber Studio, in New York. Schreiber was born in Winona, Minnesota. He has directed theatre, principally in New York, since 1976, at such venues as the Longacre Theatre, the Circle Repertory Theatre, the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, the Roundabout Theatre, as well as in Japan, regional repertory theatre, and at the Terry Schreiber Studio. Walter Kerr
Walter Francis Kerr (July 8, 1913 – October 9, 1996) was an American writer and Broadway theatre critic. He also was the writer, lyricist, and/or director of several Broadway plays and musicals as well as the author of several books, generally on the subject of theater and cinema. Biography Kerr was born in Evanston, Illinois, and earned both a B.A. and M.A. from Northwestern University., after graduation from St. George H.S. also in Evanston. He was a regular film critic for the St. George High School newspaper while a student there, and was also a critic for the Evanston News Index. Betty Buckley
Betty Lynn Buckley (born July 3, 1947) is an American actress and singer.
