T. N. Manoharan
T. N. Manoharan is a chartered accountant, former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Ex-chairman of Canara Bank, the fourth largest public sector bank in India. Career T. N. Manoharan (TNM) hails from Rajakoil village near Gudiyatham, born to a Freedom Fighter and agriculturist T.L.Narayanasamy Chowdhry and Saradammal. He is a post graduate in commerce from Sri Venkateswara University and a Chartered Accountant of four decades of standing. He is also a law graduate from Madras Law College. He has authored books for professionals and students on Taxation. Besides carrying on his practice as a CA, he was teaching CA students with passion for about two decades in Chennai and various places in Southern India. Sri Venkateswara University (commonly referred as S. V. University or SVU) is a public state university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. The university is named after Lord Venkateswara, whose shrine is located in the city. Canara Bank is an Indian public sector bank under the control and ownership of Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Established in 1906 at Mangalore by Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, the bank also has offices in London, Dubai and New York.
