Sílvia Rebelo
Sílvia Marisa Garcia Rebelo (born 20 May 1989) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Benfica and the Portugal women's national team. Career Club Rebelo started to play football at early age. She started her career at the "Fundação Laura Santos" in 2009. Despite having more than 50 international caps for Portugal, Rebelo used to work in the Fundação Laura Santos' laundry while playing for their team in the Portuguese semi-professional league. She used to work eight hours a day as a laundry woman and train in the night. Rebelo also used to train with the C. D. Gouveia's men's team. On 31 July 2016 Rebelo moved to S.C. Braga. In 2016, the Portuguese Football Federation nominated Rebelo to the "Player of the Year" award. In June 2018, Rebelo moved to the newly formed S.L. Benfica team. The UEFA Women's Euro 2022 qualifying competition was a women's football competition that determined the 15 teams joining the automatically qualified hosts England in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 final tournament. The Supertaça de Portugal Feminina ( en, Portuguese Women's Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 2015 between the winners of the Portuguese league, Campeonato Nacional Feminino, and the holders of the Portuguese Cup, Taça de Portugal Feminina. The Campeonato Nacional II Divisão de Futebol Feminino () is the second-highest division of the Portuguese women's football league system, after the Campeonato Nacional de Futebol Feminino. It is run by the Portuguese Football Federation and began in 2008. The current champions are Benfica, who won their first title in 2019. Competition As of 2017–18 there were 56 clubs in the Campeonato Promoção. During the first phase, clubs are divided into seven regionalised groups (Séries A–F and a four-club Série Madeira).
