"Síguelo" ( en, continue it (as in 'keep on going')) is a single by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel from the re-edition album '' Los Extraterrestres: Otra Dimensión'', released on July 25, 2008 by Machete Music. The official remix features former WY Records singer Jayko. Samples * The song samples the famous James Brown "Woo! Yeah!" loop throughout the song. Due to this feature the song gathered popularity when released. To avoid lawsuits, The song no longer contains the sample. The song has been edited from its original version on all streaming and music stores online. Wisin & Yandel
Wisin & Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Wisin and Yandel. They started their career in the late 1990s and have been together since, winning several awards including a Grammy Award in 2009. They became the first and the only reggaeton artists to win one. In late 2013, they announced they would take a pause in their career as a duo, after their Líderes tour. In a 2014 interview with People en Español, Yandel confirmed that the group would not be disbanding. In February 2018, following a five-year hiatus, the duo announced they would be reuniting, and are set to embark on a world tour, as well as release new music. They sold over 15 million records. Nesty "La Mente Maestra" (born Ernesto F. Padilla on September 5, 1973) is a Puerto Rican reggaeton music producer. He was closely associated with reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel and reggaeton producer Víctor "El Nasi". Music career Nesty began his recording career as an associate of reggaeton hitmakers Luny Tunes during the early to mid-2000s. Known simply as Nesty, he made a name for himself apart from Luny Tunes with a pair of hit singles in 2005: "Chulin Culin Chunfly" (Voltio ft. Calle 13) and "Eso Ehh...!!" (Alexis & Fido). Machete Music is an urban music label owned by Universal Music Group. The record label had been largely associated with reggaeton music, but in recent years, it has been also been signing non-reggaeton artists such as Malverde, Mala Rodriguez and Chino XL. The label is part of Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Machete Music is one of the most prevalent labels in the Reggaeton genre. It comes from the 1972 song "Think (About It)" by the American soul singer Lyn Collins, written and produced by James Brown. The drum break was performed by John "Jabo" Starks.
