Sérgio Penha
Sérgio Luiz da Penha (born August 20, 1959) is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and instructor. He is most known for an epic fight against Rickson Gracie in the 1980s. Sergio currently is a coach for well known Mixed martial arts, MMA fighters in Las Vegas Valley, Las Vegas such as Stephan Bonnar, Steve Cantwell, Anthony Njokuani among others. Sergio has just received one of the highest honors in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by obtaining his eighth degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ranking system#Red and white belt, red and white belt. Penha is notable for being one of a very small number of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners skilled enough to have completely bypassed brown belt, moving straight from purple to black belt. Takada Dojo
The Takada Dojo is a mixed martial arts academy in Tokyo, Japan. The dojo takes its name from Nobuhiko Takada its founder. Many members, including Takada, have participated in both professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. The dojo and its founder were heavily involved in the formative events of the Pride Fighting Championships. History Takada would fully sponsor incoming hopefuls, giving them the opportunity to train every day in preparation for their first professional fight. Takada implemented a standard test for all of the incoming fighters at his dojo. The Gracie Family () are a prominent martial arts family originally from Belém, state of Pará, Brazil whose ancestors came from Paisley, Scotland. Carlos Gracie
Carlos Gracie (September 14, 1902October 7, 1994) was a Brazilian martial artist who is credited with being one of the primary developers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Along with his younger brother Hélio Gracie and fellow students Luis França and Oswaldo Fadda, he helped develop Brazilian jiu-jitsu based on the teachings of famed Japanese ''judōka,'' Mitsuyo Maeda in Kano Jujitsu (Judo) and is widely considered to be the martial-arts patriarch of the Gracie family.
