Ivanílton Sérgio Guedes, usually known as Sérgio Guedes (born 7 November 1962), is a Brazilian Association football, football Coach (sport), coach and former Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He is the current head coach of Associação Atlética Portuguesa (Santos), Portuguesa Santista. Career Born in Rio Claro, São Paulo, Rio Claro, Sérgio Guedes began his football career playing for Associação Esportiva Araçatuba, Araçatuba. Between 1984 and 1989 he played for Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, Ponte Preta, Santos Futebol Clube, Santos, Goiás Esporte Clube, Goiás and Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, Cruzeiro, winning the 1993 Copa do Brasil, Copa do Brasil. Rio Claro, São Paulo
Rio Claro is a city in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The elevation is 613 m. It was incorporated as the village of '' São João Batista do Ribeirão Claro'' in 1827, and this incorporation is celebrated every year on June 24 as a municipal holiday. The name was changed later to ''Rio Claro''. Starting in the 19th century, Rio Claro attracted large numbers of immigrants from European countries, especially from Germany, Switzerland and Italy, but also from Spain, Portugal, some Eastern European countries, and a substantial community of Christian Arabs from the then Ottoman Empire (mostly Syrian and Lebanese). Esporte Clube Água Santa, commonly referred to as simply Água Santa, is a Brazilian association football club in Diadema, São Paulo, currently playing in the Paulistão, the top tier of the São Paulo state football league. Founded as an amateur team by migrants in 1981, Água Santa became one of the strongest non-professional teams in the ABC region, winning 17 titles during that time.
