Séamus Flanagan
Séamus Flanagan (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-forward for club side Feohanagh-Castlemahon and at inter-county level with the Limerick senior hurling team. Club career Flanagan joined the Feohanagh-Castlemahon club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before eventually joining the club's top adult team. His father, John Flanagan, had also played for the club and was an All-Ireland runner-up with Limerick in 1980. His cousin, Paul Flanagan, won an All-Ireland medal with the Clare senior hurling team in 2013. Inter-county career Minor and under-21 Flanagan first played for Limerick when he was added to the minor panel shortly before the start of the 2014 Munster Minor Championship. The 2020 Munster Senior Hurling Championship was the 133rd staging of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1888 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship#Munster Senior Hurling Championship, 1888. The championship fixtures were announced on 10 October 2019, with the championship due to take place between 10 May and 28 June 2020. The 2018 National Hurling League was the 87th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Wexford finished top of Division 1B in 2017 and were promoted to Division 1A for 2018. Galway finished second in Division 1B in 2017 and so missed out on promotion, even though they subsequently won the Division 1 league final. Cavan re-entered the National Hurling League in Division 3B, having previously withdrawn. Lancashire also entered in Division 3B for the first time. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. The 2018 Limerick county hurling team season was the Limerick senior hurling team's 127th active season of participation in inter-county hurling. During the season, Limerick played in the Munster League, the National League, the Munster Championship and the All-Ireland Championship. The 2018 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 55th and last staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster.
