Symphony In Peril
Symphony in Peril was a Christian metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio, United States. The band started in early 2002, and ended in late 2005, after Hellfest, which the band was to play, but was cancelled at the last minute. History Symphony in Peril formed in Columbus, OH in early 2002. The band gained attention quite early in their development because Shawn Jonas, former vocalist for popular metalcore band Zao, was one of the founding members.. Unbound Zine. 2004. The Chariot (band)
The Chariot was an American hardcore punk band from Douglasville, Georgia, that existed from 2003 to 2013. The last lineup consisted of drummer David Kennedy, vocalist and bandleader Josh Scogin, and guitarists Brandon Henderson and Stephen Harrison. The band experienced frequent lineup changes since its inception, with Scogin being the only original member. The band played an abrasive style of metalcore that did not adhere to typical stylings popular among their contemporaries such as melodic/abrasive dynamics and harmonic vocals. They built a reputation around their powerful live performances, with Scogin's lyrics covering topics like materialism, personal struggle, current events, politics, and Christian themes. The band was formed by Scogin shortly after he left his position of vocalist in Norma Jean. Maranatha is sludge metal band from Ohio. The band consists of vocalist, guitarist, and drummer, Collin Simula, vocalist and bassist, Jack Huston, guitarist Darrell Chess and drummer Wes Jackson. History Maranatha started in 2011 as a solo project of Collin Simula, former drummer and bassist for Symphony in Peril and drummer for Kingsblood. Simula independently released their debut EP, ''Incarnate'', in 2012. In 2013, he independently released the second EP, ''Spiritless'', that featured Nick Nowell of The Famine. Simula added his longtime friend Jack Huston to play bass and do co-vocals. As of 2014, the band has two vocalists. Narcissus (band)
Narcissus was an influential American hardcore band formed by John LaRussa and John Pope in 1998 in Canton, Ohio. In addition to John Pope (vocals, keyboards) and John LaRussa (guitar), who were in the band from start to finish, members included, at various times, Justin Carroll (bass), Ray Taylor (rhythm guitar), Derek Carter (percussion), Bill Wensel (percussion), Stephen Cushman (percussion) and Josh King (bass).
