Syed Kalbe Hussain Naqvi (मौलाना सैय्यद कल्बे हुसैन नक़वी) (مولانا سيد كلب حسين نقوى), also known as ''"Kabban"'', was a Twelver Shia muslim cleric, scholar, preacher and a mujtahid from Lucknow, India. Career He was a prominent cleric, and was chief of the Shia scholars of the South Asia during his time. Family He came from a family of scholars, known as ''"Khandan-e-Ijtehad"'' (Ijtihadi family), originally form Nasirabad-Jais, Raibareli, India, of whose Syed Dildar Ali Nasirabadi also known as '' Ghufran Ma'ab'' was a patriarch. Raibareli
Raebareli is a city in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is the administrative headquarters of Raebareli district and a part of Lucknow Division. The city is situated on the banks of the Sai river, southeast of Lucknow. It possesses many architectural features and sites, chief of which is a strong and spacious fort. Bada Imambara
Bara Imambara, also known as Asfi Imambara is an imambara complex in Lucknow, India built by Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Awadh in 1784. ''Bara'' means ''big''. This imambara is the second largest after the Nizamat Imambara. Building composition The building also includes the large Asfi mosque, the Bhul-bhulaiya (the labyrinth), and Bowli, a step well with running water. Two imposing gateways lead to the main hall. It is said that there are 1024 ways to reach the terrace but only two to come back first gate or the last gate. It is an accidental architecture. Kalbe Sadiq
Sadiq (22 June 1939 - 24 November 2020) was an Indian Islamic scholar. He was born in 1939 in Lucknow and died on 24 November 2020 after a prolonged terminal sickness. He was posthumously bestowed with the accredited national award of Padma Bhushan in 2021. His father, Kalbe Hussain, was also an Islamic scholar and his late brother, Kalbe Abid, was also an Islamic scholar head of Shia Theology Department at Aligarh Muslim University. Education and professional Life Kalbe Sadiq received his early education from the Madrasa of Sultan ul Madaris and Nazmia in Lucknow. He then moved to Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and obtained the degree of Ph.D. in Arabic Literature with a gold medal in 1971. Syed Kalbe Abid Naqvi (مولانا سيد كلب عابد نقوى) was a mujtahid from Lucknow, India who preached Shia Islam. His father was Syed Kalbe Hussain and grandfather was Syed Aqa Hasan. He was an elder brother of '' Dr. Kalbe Sadiq'', a Padma Bhushan-awarded scholar. His son, Syed Kalbe Jawad is also a scholar and the chief of the Shia population in Lucknow, India. Hasan Naqvi
Hasan Naqvi (حسن نقوى) was a Shia cleric from Lucknow, India who preached Twelver Shi'a Islam and came from a family of scholars known as "Khandaan-e-Ijtehad".
He was born in India in 1935. His father was Maulana Syed Muhammad Naqvi, popularly known as Meeran Sahab, a noted Cleric himself. He studied initially in the Madrasa-e-Nazmia of Lucknow. Later on he was admitted in the Sultanul-Madaris in Lucknow. Completing his studies in Lucknow he went to Najaf-e-Ashraf in Iraq for higher studies. There he attended lectures of scholars like Ayatollah Aqae Khoee and Ayatollah Taba Tabai.
He preached in several countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, USA, Canada and UAE.
He died on 18 October 1996 due to a renal failure and was buried at Imambara Jannat Ma'ab.

Twelver Shīʿīsm ( ar, ٱثْنَا عَشَرِيَّة; '), also known as Imāmīyyah ( ar, إِمَامِيَّة), is the largest branch of Shīʿa Islam, comprising about 85 percent of all Shīʿa Muslims.
