Syed Abdul Hadi
Syed Abdul Hadi (born 1 July 1940) is a Bangladeshi singer. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer five times for his playback performance in the films ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1979), ''Sundori'' (1979), ''Koshai'' (1980), '' Goriber Bou'' (1990) and ''Khoma'' (1992). He is the recipient of Ekushey Padak in 2000. Early life and background Hadi was born at Shahpur village in Kasba, Brahmanbaria in the-then British India. He grew up in Agartala, at his grandfather's house, who was a lawyer of the Agartala court. He graduated from Dhaka College and the University of Dhaka. Career Hadi debuted as a singer for the film ''Ye Bhi Ek Kahani'' (1964). Brahmanbaria District
Brahmanbaria ( bn, ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া, translit=Brahmôṇbaṛiya) is a district in eastern Bangladesh located in the Chittagong Division. Geographically, it is mostly farmland and is topographically part of the Gangetic Plain. It is bounded by the districts of Kishoreganj and Habiganj to the north, Narsingdi District and Narayanganj to the west, Comilla to the south, and the Indian state of Tripura to its east. Sabina Yasmin
Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema. She has won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer a record 14 times. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs for films and over 10,000 songs in total. Yasmin was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1984 and Independence Day Award in 1996 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Yasmin was born on 4 September 1953. Her father, Lutfar Rahman, worked in Provincial Civil Service of British Raj and her mother, Begum Mouluda Khatun, was a vocal artist who took lessons from the musician Ustaad Kader Baksh. Samina Chowdhury (born 28 August 1966) is a Bangladeshi singer. She mostly sings modern and classical songs. The University of Dhaka (also known as Dhaka University, or DU) is a public research university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the oldest university in Bangladesh.
