Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club and current NSW NPL Champions based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. The club was formed as Sydney Croatia in 1958, by Croatian Australians in the area, but it was renamed in 1993 as Sydney United after having the name Sydney CSC for a season. Sydney United currently competes in the National Premier Leagues New South Wales, hosting matches at the Sydney United Sports Centre in Edensor Park. United are a sister club of the Melbourne Knights, a Croatian club in the NPL Victoria. The club is a regular participant in the Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament. Olympic Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club based in Brisbane, Queensland. The club was founded in 1967 and currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Queensland, with home matches played at Goodwin Park. The club has grown tremendously in the past 15 years growing from 190 registered players to over 855 players. 2013 National Premier Leagues
The 2013 National Premier Leagues was the inaugural season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. It began on 22 February 2013 and concluded on 13 October 2013. The National Premier Leagues was contested by clubs from five divisions. The divisions were ACT, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania. The winners of each respective divisional league then competed in a finals playoff tournament at season end, culminating in a grand final. Marconi Stallions Football Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Fairfield, Sydney, New South Wales. The club has been crowned Australian champion four times. The Stallions are the soccer team of Club Marconi, a social and sporting club founded in 1958 by immigrants from Italy who settled in Sydney's western suburbs. It earned promotion to the top tier of soccer in New South Wales and established itself as one of the strongest clubs in Sydney during the 1970s, before becoming a founding member of the National Soccer League in 1977. Luka Glavas ( hr, Luka Glavaš; born 20 January 1985) is a former Australian footballer. Biography Luka Glavas played for Hurstville Zagreb from 2003 to 2004, Melbourne Knights from 2004 to 2005 and Sydney United from 2005 to 2006. In the 2006 NSW Premier League Grand Final against Blacktown City Demons, Glavas scored all four goals in a 4–0 win for Sydney United. Glavas then joined Perth Glory in mid-2006. Glavas scored his first ever A-League goal against Sydney FC on 29 October 2006. However, he was generally disappointing during his time at Perth Glory. At the end of the 2006–2007 A-League season, Perth advised Glavas that he was one of five players to be released by the club. Blacktown City Football Club is an Australian semi-professional football club based in Blacktown, New South Wales. Founded in 1953, the club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW.
