Sydney Film School
Sydney Film School is a private film school based in Waterloo, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. Originally founded in 2004 by industry professionals and film lecturers from the University of Sydney, in 2019 the school changed ownership as part of an amalgamation with the Sydney Acting School (formerly International Screen Academy). History Sydney Film School was established in August 2004 by a group of founding partners including Mark Allen, John Buckmaster, Ben Ferris, Phillip Handy, Leslie Oliver, Uracha Oliver, John Saunders, Joe Skrzynski, Emile Sherman and Willie Weinstein. Amanda King and Fabio Cavadini were founding faculty members, and taught documentary filmmaking from 2004 until at least 2015. ''Waltzing Tilda'' is a 2017 post-apocalyptic comedy-drama short film written and directed by Jonathan Wilhelmsson. John Duigan
John Duigan (born 19 June 1949) is an Australian film director and screenwriter. He is mostly known for his two autobiographical films ''The Year My Voice Broke'' and ''Flirting'', and the 1994 film ''Sirens'', which stars Hugh Grant. Biography Duigan was born in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England to an Australian father, and emigrated to Australia in 1961. He is related to many Australian performers, being the brother of novelist Virginia Duigan (wife of director Bruce Beresford) and uncle of Trilby Beresford. Wayne Blair (born 28 November 1971) is an Australian writer, actor and director. He was on both sides of the camera in ''Redfern Now''. He is also the director of the feature film '' The Sapphires''. Virginia Judge
Dianne Virginia Judge (born 19 August 1956) is a former Australian politician, who was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Strathfield for the Labor Party from 2003 until 2011. Early life Judge was born in Cooma, New South Wales, and educated in her early years in both Canberra and New Delhi, India, where her father was posted as a diplomat associated with the Columbo Plan. She later returned to Canberra for her secondary schooling. From an early age Judge was an aspiring coloratura soprano, and won many awards in the Australian National Eisteddfod in Canberra.
