FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is an international beach soccer competition contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA, the sport's global governing body. The tournament was preceded by the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' established in 1995 which took place every year for the next decade under the supervision of Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) and its predecessors. FIFA joined hands with BSWW in 2005 to take over the organization of the competition, re-branding it as an official FIFA tournament. Since 2009, the tournament has taken place every two years to allow continental tournaments to flourish without the burden of the World Cup qualifiers crowding the schedule every 12 months. Dmitry Vladimirovich Shishin (russian: Дмитрий Владимирович Шишин; born 14 March 1986) is a Russian beach soccer player currently active as forward, playing for the Russia national beach soccer team and BSC Kristall. Shishin is Merited Master of Sports of Russia. Career Dmitry's father Vladimir brought him to football at age seven, his first coach being Alexey Tarasov. He began his career in Sokol Saratov, then he played futsal until 2006, when he discovered beach soccer. Anton Pavlovich Shkarin (russian: Антон Павлович Шкарин; born 15 November 1982) is a Russian beach soccer player. He currently plays as defender for Krylya Sovetov Samara. Career Shkarin began his professional beach soccer team in the Spartak-Shchyolkovo club. He played for three seasons in the Russian club Strogino, and since 2010 he is playing for Lokomotive Moscow. His first coach was Vladimir Sinitsa. He debuted for the national team at the 2005 Euro Beach Soccer Cup. Yuri Yuryevich "Krash" Krasheninnikov (russian: Юрий Юрьевич Крашенинников; born 19 December 1984) is a Russian beach soccer player currently active as defender. He is Merited Master of Sports of Russia. Career Krasheninnikov graduated from the public school Nr. 453 in Vyborg Rayon. One of his first coaches was Vyacheslav Ivanovich Bulavin.
