Sweet Grass is a residential neighbourhood in south west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is named for Cree Chief Sweet Grass, "who was one of the early west's first conservationists and instrumental in the protection of the Plains Bison." Development of the neighbourhood occurred during the 1970s and early 1980s when 92.3% of the residences were constructed. The most common type of residence in the neighbourhood (44%) is the single-family dwelling. Blue Quill is a residential neighbourhood located in south west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Blue Quill and the adjacent neighbourhood of Blue Quill Estates are named to honour Chief Blue Quill of the Saddle Lake Band. It is bounded on the south by 23 Avenue, on the east by 111 Street, and on the west by 119 Street. The north boundary is Saddleback Road east of 115 Street, and a utility corridor west of 115 Street. Century Park Station (Edmonton)
Century Park station is an Edmonton Light Rail Transit station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It serves the Capital Line. It is a ground-level station located at 111 Street near 23 Avenue, and is named after the transit-oriented development Century Park, located on the former Heritage Mall site next to the station. Century Park is currently the southern terminus of the Capital Line. The station was officially opened on April 24, 2010, with regular service commencing on April 25, 2010. Station layout The station has a 123 metre long centre loading platform that can accommodate two trains at the same time, one on each side of the platform. The platform is exactly nine metres wide. Edmonton Light Rail Transit, commonly referred to as the LRT, is a light rail system in Edmonton, Alberta.
