Swasthik
''Swasthik'' is a 1998 Indian Kannada language thriller film directed by Upendra, starring Raghavendra Rajkumar, Vijayalakshmi and Srinath. At the 1998-99 Karnataka State Film Awards, the film won two awards; Best Art Direction (M. Ismail) and Best Sound Recording (S. Mahendran). It was reported that the core storyline and plot twists of ''Vishwaroopam'' is thematically similar to this movie. It was also reported that the climax of the movie '' Run Anthony'' vaguely reminds of ''Swasthik''. The film has over the years attained a cult status. Plot The movie starts in Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, with a woman photographer who is running away from a terror attack. She is able to get to an Indian Army camp and shows the army men the photos of one of the men leading the attack. Parvathamma Rajkumar
Dr.Parvathamma Rajkumar (6 December 1939 – 31 May 2017) was an Indian film producer and distributor. She was the wife of veteran Kannada actor Dr. Rajkumar. She produced successful films featuring Rajkumar and their sons Shiva Rajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar under the production house named "Poornima Enterprises". Actresses who found fame in her productions include Malashri, Prema, Rakshita, Sudha Rani and Ramya. She was awarded a doctorate from Bangalore University. Amongst the awards she has received are the Phalke Academy award, Kannada Rajyotsava and a lifetime achievement award from the Government of Karnataka. By 2012, she had produced 80 films. Upendra Rao (known mononymously as Upendra; born 18 September 1968) is an Indian actor, filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and politician who works primarily in Kannada cinema. Upendra has also worked in Telugu films . He started his film career as a writer and an assistant director with actor and film director Kashinath. His first directorial venture was '' Tharle Nan Maga'' (1992). In the mid-1990s, Upendra directed '' Om'', followed by '' A'', in which he debuted as an actor. Raghavendra Rajkumar (born 15 August 1965) is an Indian actor, singer and producer of Kannada cinema. He is the son of actor Dr. Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar. He made his debut as a lead in the film ''Chiranjeevi Sudhakar'' (1988) before appearing in the hugely successful 1989 film '' Nanjundi Kalyana''.
