Bulgarian (, ; bg, label=none, български, bălgarski, ) is an Eastern South Slavic language spoken in Southeastern Europe, primarily in Bulgaria. It is the language of the Bulgarians. The National Academy of Arts ( bg, Национална художествена академия) is an institution of higher education in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is the oldest and most renowned school of arts in the country. History The National Academy of Arts was founded in 1896 by noted artists and public figures such as Ivan Mrkvička, Anton Mitov, and sculptor Boris Schatz, as well as men of letters in the likes of Konstantin Velichkov and Ivan Shishmanov. Olivier Boissiere (born 1939, date of death unknown) was a French writer and commentator of contemporary art and architecture. His profiles, comments, features and interviews had been published in international magazines such as Domus, AbitareL'Architecture d'Aujourd'huiand Vogue Paris. Boissiere was the author of several books about the works of Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Le Corbusier, Ron Arad and Philippe Starck.
