Sverre Rødahl
Sverre Rødahl (born 7 July 1950, in Oslo) is a Norwegian stage producer and theatre director. He studied French, Sociology and Nordic language and literature at the University of Oslo and became cand. mag. in 1975. In 1979 he was admitted among the first four students in directing at the National National Academy of Theatre (Statens Teaterskole) in Oslo, where he graduated in 1982. He started his career as a director at Trøndelag Teater in Trondheim in 1982-1984. He was a freelance theatre director until 1988, then employed as a theatre director at the Norwegian Natioanal Theatre (Nationaltheatret) until 1991. From 1988 to 1990 he was artistic director of the National Theatre, together with Ellen Horn and Ole-Jørgen Nilsen. He was head of the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre from 1992 to 1996. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Nationaltheatret
The National Theatre in Oslo ( no, Nationaltheatret) is one of Norway's largest and most prominent venues for performance of dramatic arts. History The theatre had its first performance on 1 September 1899 but can trace its origins to Christiania Theatre, which was founded in 1829. There were three official opening performances, on subsequent days in September: first, selected pieces by Ludvig Holberg, then ''An Enemy of the People'' by Henrik Ibsen, and on the third day ''Sigurd Jorsalfar'' by Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. Ellen Horn
Ellen Horn (born Ellen Stoesen, 1 February 1951) is a Norwegian actress, theatre director, and politician for the Labour Party.Rossiné Career Horn started as a puppet actor at Oslo Nye Teater (1969–70), and was educated at the Teaterhøyskolen (1972–75), and since the late 1980s has been one of the most central and prominent figures in Norwegian theater. As an actress, she has distinguished herself by her versatility; as director at the Nationaltheatret (1992-2000), she managed to turn a money-losing company with a highly turbulent business culture into a thriving theater both financially and artistically. Horn has been an associate of Norsk Rikskringkasting and Nationaltheatret, and is currently director of Riksteatret. Ole-Jørgen Nilsen (28 February 1936 – 15 June 2008) was a Norwegian actor who was perhaps best known for playing the role of Hans Fredrik Rosenkrantz in the soap ''Hotel Cæsar'' and from a recurring role in the Olsenbanden films. Career Nilsen made his debut as a student at Nationaltheatret in 1959 and graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in the same year. He has since worked with Trøndelag Teater in 1961-68, Det Norske Teatret in 1968-73, Fjernsynsteatret in 1974-77, and Nationaltheatret since 1977. Kjetil Bang-Hansen (born 16 May 1940) is a Norwegian actor, dancer, stage producer and theatre director. Early and personal life Bang-Hansen was born in Oslo as the son of writer Odd Bang-Hansen and physician Elise Aas. He married dancer and choreographer Inger Johanne Rütter in 1967. He is brother of film producer and film critic Pål Bang-Hansen. Stein Winge (born 10 November 1940) is a Norwegian stage producer, theatre director and International Emmy Nominated actor. He has produced numerous plays and operas, and was theatre director at the National Theatre from 1990 to 1992.
