Sven Scheuer
Sven Scheuer (born 19 January 1971) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Scheuer was born in Böblingen. He joined FC Bayern Munich in 1988, and spent 11 years with the club, serving as backup goalkeeper to Raimond Aumann until 1994 and later Oliver Kahn. He usually shared this role with another 'keeper, including Uwe Gospodarek (1991–1994), Michael Probst (1994–1996) and Bernd Dreher (1996–1999). He made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga, half of which came in the 1994–95 season, and won five league titles, plus the UEFA Cup in 1996 and the DFB Pokal in 1998. He also played regularly for Bayern's reserve team, in the Oberliga Bayern and Regionalliga Süd. After leaving Bayern, Scheuer embarked on a fairly nomadic career, playing for Adanaspor in Turkey, Grazer AK in Austria, and 1. FC Saarbrücken and VfL Osnabrück back home. Böblingen
Böblingen (; Swabian German, Swabian: ''Beblenga'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, seat of Böblingen (district), Böblingen District. Bernd Dreher
Bernd Dreher (born 2 November 1966) is a German former professional football player, who played as a goalkeeper, and a current goalkeeper coach. He last worked at Ludogorets Razgrad. Career Dreher originally retired in summer 2003, taking up the role of Bayern youth goalkeeping coach and lending a hand to senior counterpart Sepp Maier in his efforts to keep Oliver Kahn and Michael Rensing in peak form. "I'm actually training more now than when I was a full professional," commented Dreher after taking part in practically every pre-season workout and tending one goal for the first team in practice matches and friendlies. Regionalliga Süd (1994–2012)
The Regionalliga Süd ( en, Regional League South) was the fourth tier of the German football league system from 2008 to 2012. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008, it was the third tier. It was the highest regional league for the southern part of Germany. It covered the states of Bavaria, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg and was one of three leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Nord and the Regionalliga West. The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Bayern Munich II
FC Bayern Munich II (''FC Bayern Munich Amateure'' until 2005) are the reserve team of German association football club FC Bayern Munich, they currently play in the Regionalliga Bayern. In 2010–11 they played in the 3. Liga, having qualified for its inaugural season in 2008, and have consistently played at the third level of German football (the highest permissible level for reserve teams) – they played in the Regionalliga Süd from its formation in 1994 to 2008, when it was usurped by the 3. DFB Pokal
The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. 1995–96 UEFA Cup
The 1995–96 UEFA Cup was the 25th season of Europe's then-tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. It was won by German club Bayern Munich on aggregate over Bordeaux of France. Girondins de Bordeaux went to the finals all the way from the 1995 UEFA Intertoto Cup, its first season, being the only Intertoto Cup entrant to reach this far of the UEFA Cup.
