Sven-Christian Kindler
Sven-Christian Kindler (born 14 February 1985) is a German politician of Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Lower Saxony since 2009. Early life and career After graduating from high school in 2004 at the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule (Hanover), Kindler completed a dual degree program of business administration at the Leibniz-Akademie Hanover and at Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics, which he completed in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. The training included an internship in Stockholm. From 2007 to 2009 he worked in corporate controlling at Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics. Political career Kindler first became a member of the Bundestag in the 2009 German federal election. He has since been a member of the Budget Committee; in 2018, he also joined its Sub-Committee on European Affairs. Bundestag
The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. Traffic Light Coalition
In German politics, a traffic light coalition (german: Ampelkoalition) is a coalition government of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and Alliance 90/The Greens. It is named after the parties' traditional colours, respectively red, yellow, and green, matching the colour sequence of a traffic light (''Ampel'').
