Svein Sturla Hungnes
Svein Sturla Hungnes (born 21 March 1946) is a Norwegian actor, theatre director, and instructor. Hungnes studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre from 1965 to 1970, and had several small roles at Nationaltheatret during that time. After he had finished with his exams in winter 1970, he made his real debut, when he played tough young boy Joey in ''the Homecoming'' by Harold Pinter. He was noticed, and had larger roles by 1972, when he played Osvald in Ibsen's ''Ghosts'' and Puck in Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream''. Hungnes was one of the leading actors at Nationaltheatret in the 1970s and 80s, when he also led many instructional exercises. He was acting coach for, among others, ''Phaedra'', ''Romeo and Juliet'', ''A Doll's House'' and ''The Threepenny Opera'' (which he directed himself). Kimen
''Kimen'' (The Seed) is a Norwegian film from 1974 directed by Erik Solbakken. It starred Kjell Stormoen, Svein Sturla Hungnes, Ragnhild Michelsen, Helle Ottesen, Helge Jordal, and Ragnhild Hilt. The film was based on the 1940 novel of the same name by Tarjei Vesaas. Plot Some people are living on a green island in the ocean to the west. In this simple and earthy environment, they live in harmony with each other. It seems to be a small community in balance. However, when a mentally unstable stranger comes to the island, this balance is suddenly destroyed. The stranger causes a young girl's death, and the death has a strong impact on the island community. Fear and mass hysteria affect the population. The drama in the film highlights themes such as crowd psychology and an individual's responsibility for collective misdeeds. Oslo Nye Teater is a theater located in Oslo, Norway. The theater has its main stage in its own theater house at Rosenkrantz' gate 10. It is one of Norway's most visited theatres. Gudbrandsdalen (; en, Gudbrand Valley) is a valley and traditional district in the Norwegian county of Innlandet (formerly Oppland). The valley is oriented in a north-westerly direction from Lillehammer and the lake of Mjøsa, extending toward the Romsdalen valley.
