Svein Richard Brandtzæg
Svein Richard Brandtzæg (born 23 December 1957, in Haugesund) is a Norwegian chemist and business executive. Brandtzæg has a PhD in Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. He also has a graduate business degree from BI Norwegian Business School. He has worked at Norsk Hydro since 1979, working on Søderberg aluminum cell technology in Karmøy. In 1985, he joined the state-owned aluminum company Årdal og Sunndal Verk (ÅSV) when it merged with Norsk Hydro, and since then has held a number of leadership positions in the aluminum division of Norsk Hydro. He was appointed CEO of Norsk Hydro on 12 January 2009 after Eivind Reiten chose to resign from the position. He took over management of the company on April 1. Haugesund () is a municipality on the North Sea in Rogaland county, Norway. While the population is greater in the neighboring Karmøy municipality, the main commercial and economic centre of the Haugaland region in northern Rogaland and southern Vestland is in Haugesund. Per-Kristian Foss
Per-Kristian Foss (born 19 July 1950 in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party and from 2014 to 2021 the Auditor General of Norway. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 1981, and was re-elected on six occasions. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1977–1981. From 2001 to 2005, when the second cabinet Bondevik held office, Foss was Minister of Finance. He also acted as Prime Minister very briefly in 2002. During this period his seat in parliament was taken by Ine Eriksen Søreide. Foss has received much attention for being the first openly gay minister in a Norwegian government and lives in registered partnership with Jan Erik Knarbakk. Eivind Reiten
Eivind Kristofer Reiten (born 2 April 1953) is a Norwegian economist, corporate officer and politician for the Centre Party. He served as Minister of Fisheries from 1985-1986 and Minister of Petroleum and Energy from 1989-1990, before entering a career in business. Reiten served as the Director General (CEO) of Norsk Hydro between 2001 and 2009, after which he took up the chairmanship of Norske Skog. Eivind Reiten was also Chairman of StatoilHydro for four days until he resigned from his position after Norsk Hydro had been accused of corruption.
