Anna Rebecka Hofstad (7 April 1878 in Offersøy, Norway – 12 October 1901 in Tornehamn, Sweden), known in history as Svarta Bjorn (Black Bear); Norwegian: Svarta Bjørn, Swedish:Svarta Björn, was a Norwegian cook, active as a cantine cook for the railway Navvy workers during the construction of the Iron Ore Line between Kiruna and Narvik in 1899-1901. She has been treated as a local legend in the history of the area and became the object of fiction. She has been described as tall, dark, beautiful and intelligent. A reason for her fame may be the fact that during this period of settlement in the area, she was one of few women there, and was therefore idealized as an icon among the railway workers. According to the legend, she died during a fight with another railway cook, who broke her ribs and gave her a fatal blow to the head. She was taken to the infirmary in Tornehamn, where she died. Kiruna
(; se, Giron ; fi, Kiiruna ) is the northernmost Stad (Sweden), city in Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland, Sweden, Lapland. Max Giesinger (born 3 October 1988) is a German singer-songwriter and musician. He first gained widespread popularity with his single "80 Millionen", placing as high as second position in the German charts. His music is usually labeled as pop and pop-rock. Early life Giesinger was born and raised in Waldbronn, Baden-Württemberg. At the age of 13, he played in his first band the ''Deadly Punks''. Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease usually caused by '' Mycobacterium tuberculosis'' (MTB) bacteria. Tuberculosis generally affects the lungs, but it can also affect other parts of the body. Most infections show no symptoms, in which case it is known as latent tuberculosis. Around 10% of latent infections progress to active disease which, if left untreated, kill about half of those affected. Typical symptoms of active TB are chronic cough with blood-containing mucus, fever, night sweats, and weight loss. It was historically referred to as consumption due to the weight loss associated with the disease. Infection of other organs can cause a wide range of symptoms. Iron Ore Line
The Iron Ore Line ( sv, Malmbanan) is a long railway line between Riksgränsen and Boden in Norrbotten County, Sweden, owned by Trafikverket (the Swedish Transport Administration). The line also contains two branches, from Kiruna to Svappavaara and from Gällivare to Koskullskulle. The term is often colloquially used to also include the Ofoten Line, from Riksgränsen to Narvik in Norway, and the northernmost part of the Main Line Through Upper Norrland from Boden to Luleå. The railway from Narvik to Luleå is long. The line is dominated by the ore freight trains operated by LKAB's subsidiary Malmtrafik from their mines to the Port of Narvik and the Port of Luleå.
