Suzanne Roces
Suzanne "Sue" Roces (born January 17, 1985), is a Filipino former volleyball player. Career College Sue Roces attended the University of the East for her collegiate studies and played the UE Lady Warriors women's volleyball team in the UAAP. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2002 in Season 65. She also competed in beach volleyball, helping UE clinch a silver medal in UAAP Season 69 for the 2006–07 academic year. She also played for UE at the Shakey's V-League in 2006. Club Shakey's V-League/PVL After playing for the UE Lady Warriors at the Shakey's V-League in 2006, Roces has also played for other colleges as a guest player. In 2007, she played for the University of Santo Tomas. The following season, she competed for San Sebastian College – Recoletos helping the team win the season's 2nd Conference and with her being named the Finals MVP. UST Growling Tigers
The UST Growling Tigers are the college athletic teams representing the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. They hold the most UAAP Overall Championships with 44 Seniors' Overall Championships (out of 73 seasons) and 21 Juniors' Overall Championships (out of 26 seasons). UST is one of four member universities that participate in all 15 sporting events of the league. 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''37th conference of the former Shakey's V-League conference results, Shakey's V-League'') and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season. The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The Spikers' Turf has served as the men's counterpart of the league. The Shakey's V-League 9th Season: 1st Conference is the sixteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines.
