Espoo
Espoo (, ; sv, Esbo) is a city and municipality in the region of Uusimaa in the Republic of Finland. It is located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland, bordering the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi, Vihti and Nurmijärvi while surrounding the enclaved town of Kauniainen. The city covers with a population of about 300 000 residents in 2022, making it the 2nd-most populous city in Finland. Espoo forms a major part of a substantially larger metropolitan area known as Greater Helsinki, home to over 1.5 million people in 2020. Espoo was first settled in the Prehistoric Era, with the first signs of human settlements going back as far as 8,000 years, but the population effectively disappeared in the early stages of the Iron Age. Leppävaara ( sv, Alberga) is a district of Espoo, a city in Finland. Lintuvaara
Lintuvaara (Finnish) or Fågelberga (Swedish) is a district of Espoo, a city in Finland. Located by a forest, Lintuvaara is known as a quiet suburban area with most of the buildings there being either low density row houses or detached homes. The Leppävaara centre, a major traffic hub and the home to the Sello mall, is only a couple of kilometres to the south from Lintuvaara. Due to the close proximity of services and schools as well as sporting opportunities, Lintuvaara is known as a very kid-friendly neighbourhood and it has thus attracted many families to live there. Karakallio
Karakallio (Finnish) or Karabacka (Swedish) is a district of Espoo, a city in Finland Finland ( fi, Suomi ; sv, Finland ), officially the Republic of Finland (; ), is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. The name "Karabacka" dates back at least as far as 1762, at which time the language of majority of the inhabitants was Swedish, and when the name occurs in connection with the "Karabacka Meadow" and also the "Karabacka Mountain". The origins of the name are nevertheless unclear. The Finnish-language version of the name began to be used for an urban development in the 1950s when development of the area was first discussed and planned. Finnish Language
Finnish ( endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland. Finnish is one of the two official languages of Finland (the other being Swedish).
