María Susana Giménez Aubert (born 29 January 1944), known as Susana Giménez (), is an Argentine TV host, actress, model and businesswoman. In 2012, she was considered the biggest celebrity in Argentine television by the media firm that publishes her eponymous magazine. She was the host of ''Susana Giménez'', a highly rated television variety show in Argentina, similar in format to those of Raffaella Carrà (in Italy and Spain) and Oprah Winfrey (in United States). In 1997, she was awarded with the Golden Martín Fierro Award, and in 2002 won the INTE award for TV hostess of the Year. Early life Giménez was the daughter of María Luisa Sanders, of Irish descent, and Augusto Giménez Aubert, of Spanish descent. She had a hard childhood, tainted by her parents' separation. ''Susana'' was an Argentinian magazine for women directed by Susana Giménez, a big celebrity in Argentine television. Inspired by other international figures' publications, such as '' O, The Oprah Magazine'' by Oprah Winfrey and ''AR'' by Ana Rosa Quintana, the magazine was named after her, and she appeared on every cover. It was first published in 2008 and included articles on women's issues, relationships, sex, health, careers, self-improvement and celebrities, as well as fashion and beauty. Many of the articles were about Giménez herself. The last issue was published in May 2018. Polo is a ball game played on horseback, a traditional field sport and one of the world's oldest known team sports. Daniel Tinayre (14 September 1910 – 24 October 1994) was a French-born Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer. Moving to Buenos Aires at a young age, Tinayre directed some 23 films between 1934 and 1974, directing films such as the 1947 thriller '' A sangre fría'' (In Cold Blood) which starred actors such as Amelia Bence and Tito Alonso. He was also an acclaimed screenwriter and producer simultaneously contributing in these areas to the films he directed in Argentine cinema.
