Survivor (Japanese TV Series)
was a Japanese reality game show based on the popular international '' Survivor'' format. The show broadcast on the Tokyo Broadcasting System on Tuesdays. Its hosts were Neptune as 'Presenter', and Munehiro Tokita, a voice actor, as 'Guide Staff'. Four seasons were broadcast from April 2002 to March 2003. As of December 2019, the Tokyo Broadcasting System has not yet announced plans for a fifth season. The prize for ''Sole Survivors'' was 10,000,000 yen. Format & Rules The show follows the same general format as the other editions of the show. 16 castaways are split between two teams and are taken to a remote isolated location and are forced to live off the land with meager supplies for 39 days. Frequent physical and mental challenges are used to pit the teams against each other for rewards, such as food or luxuries, or for "immunity", forcing the other tribe to attend "Tribal Council", where they must vote off one of their players. Charlie Parsons
Charles Andrew Parsons is a British television producer known as the creator of the ''Survivor (franchise), Survivor'' franchise. He also created ''The Big Breakfast'' and ''The Word (TV series), The Word''. Education Parsons was educated at Tonbridge School, a boarding independent school in Tonbridge in Kent in South East England, and credits the tough boarding school regime he endured there in the early 1970s, which at the time was commonplace, as providing an inspiration for his creation of the series ''Survivor''. He then went to Pembroke College, Oxford, Pembroke College at the University of Oxford, where he studied English literature and afterwards trained as a journalist. Mikasa, Hokkaido
is a city located in Sorachi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. As of September 2016, the city has an estimated population of 9,056, and the density of 30 persons per km2. Geography The total area is 302.64 km2. It is bordered on three sides by mountains, and on its east side is the man-made Lake Katsurazawa.
