''Superstar K3'' () is the third season of the South Korean television talent show series ''Superstar K'', broadcast by M.net. Lee Seung-chul
Lee Seung-chul (; born December 5, 1966) is a South Korean singer best known for the hit songs, "My Love", "Never Ending Story", and "Girls' Generation". Kim Sung-joo (born October 10, 1972) is a South Korean television host and a former announcer. The group currently consists of members Kim Myung-hoon, Park Seung-il, Choe Do-wo. Busker Busker () is a South Korean indie band who rose to fame through their runner-up performance in the South Korean music audition television program ''Superstar K3'' on Mnet. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Jang Beom-june, bassist Kim Hyung-tae and drummer Brad Moore. ''Busker Busker 1st Album'' and its single " Cherry Blossom Ending" were released in March 2012. The band's six-month contract with CJ E&M came to an end in 2012, and they then joined Chungchun Music, releasing ''Busker Busker 2nd Album'' in September 2013. First held in 2009, Superstar K has increasingly gained more attention, considered the biggest audition program in South Korea. Superstar K's concept involves that of finding the next "superstar," with the winner each week determined with a combination of the scores given by judges and votes from viewers. The show received immense popularity for its first three seasons, discovering popular acts such as Seo In-guk, Huh Gak, John Park, Kang Seungyoon, Ulala Session and Busker Busker, and reached its peak in ratings in its fourth season with Roy Kim and Jung Joon-young as its forefront.
