''Super Remix'' is the second remix album by Italian singer Sabrina. It was released in 1990 in Italy only. Album information In 1990, Casablanca Records in Italy issued a unique compilation of remixes in the form of the very rare "Super Remix" album. Among the album's 8 tracks is a unique remix of "Sex", while the other remixes are available on other releases, too. The remix of "Sex" is the guitar-driven version Sabrina mimed to on several TV shows in 1989/1990. A version of "Gringo" (the 5:00 Extended Remix) is also featured, making the ''Super Remix'' album the only album to contain this track. Italo Disco
Italo disco (variously capitalized, and sometimes hyphenated as Italo-disco) is a music genre which originated in Italy in the late 1970s and was mainly produced in the early 1980s. Italo disco evolved from the then-current underground dance, pop, and electronic music, both domestic and foreign (American hi-NRG, French Euro disco) and developed into a diverse genre. The genre employs electronic drums, drum machines, synthesizers, and occasionally vocoders. It is usually sung in English, and to a lesser extent in Italian and Spanish. Casablanca Records is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group and operated under Republic Records. Stock Aitken Waterman (abbreviated as SAW) are an English songwriting and record production trio consisting of Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman. The trio had great success from the mid-1980s through the early 1990s. SAW is considered one of the most successful songwriting and producing partnerships of all time, scoring more than 100 UK top 40 hits, selling 40 million records and earning an estimated £60 million (about $104 million). ''Super Sabrina'' is the second studio album by Italian pop singer Sabrina, released in 1988 (and in some countries in 1989) by Videogram. Album information 1988 saw the release of Sabrina's second album, titled ''Super Sabrina'', in Italy, France and Denmark; and in 1989 in other countries. The standard format at the time was still the vinyl LP, with Italy adding a bonus in the form of a picture disc (using the picture as the standard LP). While all countries used the same picture-sleeve design, the track listings were quite different. Italy and Germany added " Boys (Summertime Love)" and " Sexy Girl" to the eight tracks especially produced for the LP. Denmark released only these eight tracks, while the French CD release couples the eight tracks with the 'Extended Mix' of "My Chico" and the 'Boy Oh Boy Remix' of "All of Me (Boy Oh Boy)". ''Over the Pop'' is the third studio album by Italian pop singer Sabrina. It was released in 1991. Background and development In 1990, Sabrina was the hostess of the daily morning TV show ''Ricomincio da 2'' with Raffaella Carrà on Rai Due, and appeared on the popular music show Festivalbar with a new single called " Yeah Yeah". 1991 marked a turning point in Sabrina's career: she performed a duet with Italian singer Jo Squillo in singing "Siamo Donne", her first release in the Italian language. They performed together at 1991's Sanremo Music Festival to much acclaim.
