Sunday Life (TV Series)
''Sunday Life'' was a British magazine/discussion television programme broadcast on Sundays on BBC One, beginning 20 April 2008, presented by Louise Minchin and Colin Jackson. The show, which replaced the '' Heaven and Earth Show'' was intended to focus on "inspiring stories and thought-provoking discussion", with the slogan "Real stories. Real people. Real life." The show was partly intended to fill the public service remit of the BBC's broadcasting licence, as well as its Sunday morning religious quota. It was dropped from the schedule after one series and its slot in the schedule replaced by The Big Questions. The show was produced by True North Productions, who are based in Leeds. The location for the show was in Keighley, West Yorkshire, at the old Mills which were renovated. Louise Minchin
Louise Mary Minchin (born September 1968) is a British television presenter, journalist and former news presenter who currently works freelance within the BBC. Beginning in 2012, Minchin was a regular anchor on the BBC One programme ''Breakfast'', co-hosting the show three days a week with Dan Walker. On 8 June 2021, Minchin announced live on air that she would be leaving ''BBC Breakfast'' "after the summer", after presenting the show for 20 years (at first as a stand-in host). Her final appearance on the show was on 15 September 2021. From 2009 until 2012, Minchin co-hosted '' Real Rescues'' alongside Nick Knowles and Chris Hollins. West Yorkshire
West Yorkshire is a metropolitan and ceremonial county in the Yorkshire and Humber Region of England. Colin Jackson
Colin Ray Jackson, (born 18 February 1967) is a Welsh former sprint and hurdling athlete who specialised in the 110 metres hurdles. During a career in which he represented Great Britain and Wales, he won an Olympic silver medal, became world champion twice, World indoor champion once, was undefeated at the European Championships for 12 years and was twice Commonwealth champion. His world record of 12.91 seconds for the 110 m hurdles stood for over 10 years and his 60 metres hurdles world record stood for nearly 27 years. ''The Big Questions'' is an interfaith dialogue and ethics television programme usually presented by Nicky Campbell. It is broadcast live on BBC One on Sunday mornings, replacing ''The Heaven and Earth Show'' as the BBC's religious discussion programme. Format The format is loosely based on BBC One's political discussion show, ''Question Time'', though it also contains elements that are more familiar to daytime chat shows.
