Sun Shaocheng
Sun Shaocheng (; born July 1960) is a Chinese politician currently serving as party secretary of Inner Mongolia. Previously, he served as Minister of Veterans Affairs, vice-minister of Land and Resources, vice-minister of Civil Affairs, vice-governor of Shanxi, and vice-governor of Shandong. He served two separate terms as vice-minister of Ministry of Civil Affairs, from April 2009 to August 2012 and from February 2017 to June 2017. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He is a member of the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Education Sun was born in Haiyang, Shandong in July 1960. He entered Shandong University in August 1980, majoring in Chinese language and literature at the Department of Chinese language, where he graduated in July 1984. Bai Yun (politician)
Bai Yun (; born December 1960) is a Chinese regional politician from Shanxi province. She was the Communist Party Secretary of Yuncheng between 2012 and 2013. Bai was the first female official of provincial-ministerial rank to be investigated for corruption after the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. At the time the investigation against her was opened, she was serving as a member of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Head of the United Front Work Department of Shanxi Province. She was expelled from the Party in 2015 for abuse of power and accepting bribes. Shanxi

The 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party (commonly referred to as ''Shíjiǔ Dà''; ) was held at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, between 18 and 24 October 2017. 2,280 delegates represented the party's estimated 89 million members. Preparations for the 19th National Congress began in 2016 and ended with a plenary session of the Central Committee a few days prior to the Congress.
