Sultanah Maliha binti Almarhum Tengku Ariff (née Tengku Maliha binti Almarhum Tengku Ariff, born 13 April 1949) is wife of Sallehuddin of Kedah and the current Sultana (title), Sultanah of states and federal territories of Malaysia, Malaysian State of Kedah replacing her sister-in-law, Sultanah Haminah Hamidun. She proclaimed as the Sultanah of Kedah on 30 April 2018 in a royal ceremony after her husband was made Kedah Sultanate, Sultan of Kedah. She is the mother to Tunku Sarafuddin Badlishah, Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah and Tunku Shazuddin Ariff. Sultanah of Kedah is the title given to the Queen consort, consorts of the incumbent Sultan of Kedah, Sultan of the States and federal territories of Malaysia, Malaysian State of Kedah. The title was introduced by Badlishah of Kedah, Sultan Badlishah on 13 May 1943. Previous consorts of the Sultan of Kedah given no any official title. Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals.
