Sukumar (director)
Bandreddi Sukumar (born 23 January 1970) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for his complex, multi-layered screenplays and for infusing grey shades in the character sketches of his protagonists. He is one of the highest paid directors in Cinema of South India, South Indian cinema. Sukumar worked as a mathematics and physics Lecturer#India, lecturer at a Junior college#India, junior college in Kakinada for nearly seven years before pursuing a directional career in films. He began working as a writer and worked with A. Mohan, Editor Mohan before Assistant director, assisting V. V. Vinayak on Dil (2003 film), ''Dil'' (2003). ''1: Nenokkadine'' () is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language psychological action thriller film directed by Sukumar. The film was produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, and Anil Sunkara on 14 Reels Entertainment banner and was distributed by Eros International. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon who makes her acting debut through this film. Nassar, Pradeep Rawat and Kelly Dorji appear in supporting roles.
