Kumari, Nepal
Kumari is a Village development committee (Nepal), village development committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6458 people living in 1132 individual households. Clinic The Sukman Medical Polyclinic was built by the Health and Ed 4 Nepal non-profit, which provides ongoing support. The clinic was severely damaged by the 23 April 2015 earthquake that struck Nepal but remains in partial operation. Schools The local pre-secondary school, Shree Bikash, was also severely damaged in the 23 April 2015 earthquake and its remains were demolished. She came to notice after she bicycled some with her injured father to reach their home village during COVID-19 lockdowns in India. Deepika Kumari (born 13 June 1994) is an Indian professional archer. Currently ranked the World No. 2, she competes in the event of archery. She won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi. She has won individual gold in two of the three stages of the World Cup--one in Guatemala and another in Paris. Kumari Kamala (born 16 June 1934) is an Indian dancer and actress (also known as Kamala Lakshman). Initially featured as a child dancer, Kamala appeared in almost 100 Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films throughout her career. In the 1970s, she became a teacher of the Vazhuvoor style of dance in which she specialises. Early life and career She was born at Mayuram, India, and belongs to Tamil brahmin community.
