''Sukisho'', released in Japan as , is a Japanese visual novel developed by UNiSONSHIFT and released on September 10, 1999. It has since been adapted into a light novel series and an anime television series animated by Zexcs and aired from January to March 2005. Naoki Satō
is a Japanese composer who has provided the music for several popular anime series including the first five ''Pretty Cure'' series, '' X'', '' Eureka Seven'', '' Sword of the Stranger'', and '' Blood-C''. He graduated from the Tokyo College of Music in 1993. (; also transliterated ) is a Japanese term literally meaning "beautiful youth (boy)" and describes an aesthetic that can be found in disparate areas in East Asia: a young man of androgynous beauty.
